18 years ago 0 31 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I had to yank crank my cigarettes almost a week ago and doing ok with the lozenge. Probably won't be on this site again until after my 1 week milestone. Working all weekend ( can't smoke at work ). Talk to all of you next week. Gonna...are you implying that we have hairy butts!! I was just about to hit the sack when I read this post. One good laugh before bed never hurts. Thank you for your in-depth research....I will avoid yanked cranks at all cost. I didn't want to ask, I thought it was another slang thing that I'd have to look up the meaning, thought it was because I'm from another country, so nobody knows? LOL! I also thought it was a geographical thing and I did not want to offend anyone...you know, like those clotted hens.....but, sounds like we are all in the dark on this one! Are all continents covered? Excellent question, Rusty...I have no idea(?) However, I have watched crank yankers on the comedy channel---muppet-like characters that make obscene phone calls!!! :confuse: I don't think it is the same meaning. Sometimes I am slow...could somebody draw me a picture??? Okay...I have done some research on the subject... Yank Crank has something to do with the optic-anal nerve. It is the nerve responsible for a crappy outlook on life. If you doubt this, pluck a hair from your a$$ and see if it doesn't bring a tear to your eye! My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 34 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,700 Amount Saved: $272 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 12 Mins: 1 Seconds: 55

I don't know if any other aussies spoke up but yank crank is new to me. The only thing similar I've heard is Septic Tank (or Seppo) as rhyming slang for Yank (don't blame me it started in world war 2) lol x alison :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/16/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 146 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,389 Amount Saved: $1825 Life Gained: Days: 20 Hrs: 17 Mins: 35 Seconds: 36
