What if you were someone else?

I started the thread a couple of weeks after seeing a tee shirt with a caption reading that someone would want to be their own good friend.  It made me think of what I am like, but Josie is right!  It is in the eye of the beholder

Its in the eye of the beholder!

We all want different characteristics in our friends..it isn't a mold!

When I think that I am not able to go out and hang out and go shopping or eating with others, others would probably not want me as a friend. But if all the material side was put aside, I think I would like me as a friend.

Hugs,

I would have you as a friend even if you were sometimes a pain in the butt. Question is would you tolerate me to have a friend. I can be a pain in the butt. I'm rather set in my ways.

I just wondered if you were someone else, would you wish to have yourself as a friend?

I think I'd be difficult to be a fiend with, since I'm sensitive, and don't have much time.  On the other hand, I'm gentle, well-intentioned, have good values, am a great listener.  I probably have a lot going for me and am, like most people, have so much to give, if I was given a chance to open up.

I wonder how anyone else would feel about having themselves as a friend....?
