Hey Jo! Every single symptom you listed is how I feel every single day. I keep thinking there must be something physically wrong because how can I have all these symptoms and all these docs keep saying it's just anxiety?! Well, as much as my panic monster insists it is something physical, the fact is that it is just anxiety / panic. I've had this for about 12 or 13 years now and I've done a lot of research about it after finding this website because I just couldn't believe that this is all it is. Everything I find, everywhere I look, all say the exact same things. This is indeed just panic / anxiety. It's amazing how our emotions can effect our way of daily life and how we feel. I am still working on this and some days are worse than others, but the more you learn about this, the easier it becomes to fight it. This website offers a free 12 week course on Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I have learned this is the only way to beat this. It is not easy and it will take lots of practice and determination but it can be beat. I went through the program and had six months of no panic at all - without meds. It was fabulous!! I became anemic and started getting lots of dizzy spells and all that anxiety came back and I have been fighting it since (about three months ago), but I am working on the program again. It is really hard because you basically have to retrain your thoughts and reactions. But, I guarantee you that it is worth the work. It is hard, but it gets easier. I have noticed that the more I think this must be something physical, the worse the symptoms get. The more I remind myself that it is just anxiety symptoms, the better it gets. Hang in there! I promise you can get through this!! - Even a thousand mile journey begins with a single step.
