Good Anxiety?

No problem ! I would love for us all to just let go and 'enjoy the moment.' I am actually trying really hard to work on that. I just get so frustrated because i live each and every day worrying about the future and the best. I'm always scared of what i DID or what may COME. I hate that. And it got to a point where i felt really down and sad. Anyhow, i'm trying to just BE HERE. That is, i'm trying to be in the PRESENT moment. Its so hard cause i'm so used to being everywhere else but here lol. I really want to just let go and enjoy the present moment, no matter what im' doing! So i hope you can do that too!!!

Hi Anxious, Thanks for posting your thoughts on this topic here. It is great to be able to share with others who truly understand. Casey ________________________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

Thanks for the words of wisdom Angel. Its good to know that as odd as it may seem this is "normal". I guess I just have to let go once in awhile and accept whatever feelings may come and enjoy the moment, whatever it is.

U are definately not alone on this! Most people with anxiety are afraid to have fun or be active because that adreline inside of us reminds of good old anxiety lol. Dont worry, its normal for us. However, dont' avoid being happy and excited....these are the best moments ever! Just remember, its just excitement and its normal for your body to react this way. We just always connect the syptoms with anxiety symptoms. So dont' panic!!! Just keep being happy and excited!!

I was just wondering about something. There are some good types of anxiety, like anticipation of something exciting. Has anyone ever started to experience this kind of anxiety and it escalated into a full-blown panic attack? I find that sometimes when I get excited about something that is actually good and my heart starts pumping and my palms get sweaty, all of a sudden I feel as though all the bad anxiety symptoms start. I'll start to feel light headed and I can't breathe as well and then I feel like I need to escape wherever I am. Is this a common thing or am I alone in this?
