Outlaw, in respnse to your question, I usually get an upset stomach. It has not been that bad recently, but as soon as I feel I'm in a situation where I cannot freely leave, i.e a meeting, lecture etc. it seems to come back.
Thanks for all your support, its great to know you are out there. Best of luck to all of you!
I found that my original reasons for anxiety / panic became a fear of anxiety / panic itself as well. Especially a fear of the physical symptoms. The only relief I have found for this in the 12 years I've dealt with it is the Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I've only been working on it for a few months and had never tried it before. I finally feel like I am beating this through the help I have found from this website. In case you haven't tried the Panic Program yet, it is free and it is a 12 week course teaching Cognitive Behavior Therapy. It is fabulous!! It has been medically proven for years that CBT is the most effective route to beat panic / anxiety over many other options - including meds. If you haven't started the program offered here yet, I strongly suggest you try it! And, of course, we'll be here on the support group to help you on those days it feels like it's too much to deal with. ;)

Hi,
I just wanted to say what a relief it is to know that I'm not alone in my anxiety suffering. I've honestly had no idea whats been going on with my body over the past year. My anxiety and fear has really placed limiations on my life; ranging from agoraphobia which manifests itself by causing digestive problems and negative thoughts.
The thing I've realised is that the initial causes of my anxiety are no longer really significant. Instead, I'm only anxious because I'm scared of being anxious.
Therefore, I'm in need of a complete change in mentality. Have any of you found something that really caused a difference in your thinking?
