Addiction simplified

16 years ago 0 363 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I've been thinking a lot about addiction, it all is in the brain...correct? The brain fires the signals to the body to give us those horrible withdrawal symptoms. So I'm thinking about it and it is so silly it almost makes me laugh out loud. Our own brain conspires against us when we quit smoking. Even though we know we're doing the right thing for our health, our brain wants nicotine. But the irony is if we give in to our brain and give it what it wants, by smoking, we will eventually die prematurely, and then our brain will be dead to. Brains are dumb! LOL  The only reason I have posted this is that for some reason when I think of my addiction this way, it seems so easy to beat it, and maybe it will help someone else who may be struggling.
