I don't own a scale so even though I knew I was gaining, I didn't know how much. Early on, like the first week or two, I was weighing myself at the gym and got a little freaked out that I had gained five pounds (I think) in the first 10 days of my quit. So, I quit weighing myself because I knew all that mattered to me at the time was not smoking. I didn't want to be worrying about weight too.
Anyway, I figured I was going to be a whale by the time I hit three months. Well, I still have some time before I get to the three month mark, but as of yesterday I have gained 15 lbs. The good news is it seems like I've leveled off. I would say I've stayed at the same weight for about a month now...roughly. Since I was pretty skinny, the weight doesn't bother me. The fact that some of my favorite clothes aren't fitting so well kinda bugs me but I suppose it's a fair trade.
I am thinking you'll gain some. Almost everyone I know who's quit has gained some and it seems like the average is about the same as me at about 15 lbs. I'm glad that's a good thing for you. :)
