Why can't I be honest?

Hey, i can sort of relate, ive hidden how i feel for years, its just habit, i guess. my whole family's like that, i guess i was taught that. But i just wanted to say that im a nursing student, and even as a student, ive heard a lot of people's stories. just wanted to encourage you to feel ok telling your doc or nurse whats going on in your head, TRUST me, all medical professionals totally lose the ability to be shocked by anything. ive found that the more honest i am to them, the more they understand what i need, and the better i feel at the end of the session. start small, i think also the most important thing is, if nothing else, be honest with yourself. Hey, if you need to start somewhere, email me anytime to vent or whatever, at least the screen doesnt have a face or wierd reactions to what you say, :) Take care pilsburypop@yahoo.com

I can't tell anybody when that last time was that I did not feel sorry for myself or break down just thinking of my past. My draw back is that when I go for help from doctors I always have to hide behind a mask. I feel so embarrassed about telling them what I have done or what I think about. So I end up giving myself the run around. I don't know what to say when I call the hotlines I just feel stupid. Can anybody relate?
