Natural Therapies

Hi, what an interesting question !! When I had anxiety / panic I tried hypnotherapy, and although it didn't produce the 'cure' I so desperately wanted it to, at that time, I did find it really helpful, in that it helped me learn more about how to relax, and eventually I found I could use self hypnosis. I think most 'alternative ' forms of therapy are helpful, to some degree, but really its all about changing your thinking pattern, and the programme on this site is very good, using cbt practices. Anything that helps tho', can't be bad ( as long as its legal !! ), try relaxation tapes and massage, not only does it help, but its also a lovely way to relax ! Good luck

Hi ConquerQueen, Thanks for stopping by and sharing your current therapy. For anyone considering alternative methods, please keep in mind that as individuals what works for some may not be appropriate for all, and you may want to first consult with your health care provider (or pharmacist for any med interactions) to see if an alternative therapy may be appropriate for you. HI Everyone, Is anyone or has anyone used natural therapies as a way to deal with anxiety/panic/agoraphobia? I took my aropax for 3 days and felt so so so horrible i have decided to try another avenue for treatment as well as doing this program. I have a naturopath/Medical Herbalist that lives close by and can do home visits for me. I also had acupuncture on Saturday and it was wonderful. Has anyone else here used acupuncture? Thanks everyone
