Mel, That is great! It is funny that you had to get that done cuz I have to have two wisdom teeth pulled this coming Tuesday and am very very scared about it. I made it to the dentist 2 weeks ago and got my teeth cleaned and that's when I found out I had to have the 2 teeth pulled. I made it through the teeth cleaning fine but I am soooo afraid that I will be in a lot of pain or pass out. My fiance is also great too. If it wasn't for him and my son, I don't know how I would make it through the day. He is gonna come with me on Tuesday also so that makes me feel better. hello everyone just wanted to let everyone know I made it to the dentist got my tooth pulled and im doing good. I cried like a big baby but I did it. My fiance went with me for support he is the best if it wasnt for him theres alot of thing i wouldnt do he is the best thanks melinda

Hi Mel, Best of luck at the dentist. I know exactly how you feel as I too I'm terrified of the dentist. I will need to go myself soon but have not worked up the courage yet. Good on you for facing a fear. :)

Gl with thr dentist Mel, you can do it! And Isabella you can do it too. If you want to take the lexapro i beleive you are able to do it :) I beleive in you :) -Diva

Mel, Thank you for the great post!! It really made me feel so much better about taking the meds now. My mom is also taking lexapro, it has been several weeks now, and she is doing much better too so it is probably working for you as well which is great! I am ready to take it now that I know it won't kill me LOL. I am looking forward to not having to feel dizzy all the time and like I am walking around in a haze and it is always good to know others feel the same way and that I am not alone. Thank you soooo much for your post and good luck at the dentist. Let me know how it goes ;)

well im off to the dentist tomorrow wish me luck im scared to death beside medicine i think going to the dentist is one of my biggest fears. but i told myself im going to concer that tomorrow. And i will do it..

Isabella, Hello I replied to your post from 10/09/06 you said you felt dizzy all the time like you were in a daze and that you never felt normal. I was sad for you but at the same time your story gave me relief because everything you said Is the same way I feel. I was starting to think I was just going crazy. As far as the meds go I hate to take meds im scared to death of them. I was on zoloft for along time and i did good and for some reason I started to decrease my dose which caused my world to crash down around me and i didnt understand what was going on. I realize it now but it doesnt make things any better. my anxiety and depression was getting so bad i just stayed at home and cried everyday. Ive been to my dr and he will give me any med that I want its just a matter of taking it. enough was enough so i started the lexapro the first week i cut off a tiny little piece still scared but i did it the next week im up to a whole half af a pill (5mg) big achievment for me. tonight im going to up it again. for side affects my dizziness has decreased im not crying everday. I had a few aches and pains some fatigue a little bit of nausea. but im not sure if this was the med or just my normal anxiety. its only been a few weeks and maybe its all in my head or im just trying to be positive but i do think im starting to feel results all ready. i would recomend giving it a try. trust me if i can do it anyone can. meds and the dentist is my biggest fears. sorry to be going on and on. i hope this helps i will keep posting to let you know how its going. thanks for listening. I also take xanax but that is maybe once a week if that. i try to do with out it. mel
