RIGHT! Take it one day at a time and slowly return to work hon, you can do it and if you can't so what, you can worry about that later, not right now! Sam S

Hey Michael Thanks for the advice. I also work in Corporate America... desk job but with high stress. That is what triggered this attack in the first place. I just feel like they are expecting so much out of me when I return and I am not 100%. I already tried to go back once and had so much chest pain that I only lasted 2 wseeks and that was part time work. I am going to see how the rest of this week goes with the xanax and me getting out and than make my decision. If I fail than I fail... I can always try again later.....RIGHT ?

Depends on what type of work do you do....ie if I were a flight attendant I totally couldnt go back to work but being that I work in corporate america, et c.....its a bit easier....hopefully they wont ask me to travel too soon.....also, perhaps you can drink some coffee with the xanax....i know caffeine is a no no but perhaps a smidge will get you up....with the xanax of course.

How do you know if you are ready to go back to work. I think about it all the time and get those anxious feelings and sometimes panicky but I have to work. Do you just go and see what happens ? How do you go and get thru it.... that is what I want to know from everybody. Have you returned to work and had anxiety issues and if so how did you cope. I know I can do it if I take my xanax 3 times a day but I'm afraid I will need a nap like I do at home. I am suppose to go back in 3 weeks and I have been off for 4 months. I really want to go cause I am so tired and bored with sitting at home and plus I need to start making money again. Any suggestions ?
