Wow Patrick, so nice to see you back.  Those 3 yrs. and 9 months are looking great!  I'm just behind you with 3 yrs. and 8 months!  What a lifesaver SSC was for me.

Hi, Newbies! Congratulations on getting into this terrific programme and for saving your life. I sat on my PC for 6 months after I quit in 18 Jan 2008 and depended on SSC , it's members and educators to help me stay off the smokes. Without all the help I wouldn't have got through - I'd be struggling with deep COPD problems rather than now when I can breathe clearly and don't have to use a broncho-dilator ten times a day just to catch a breath!
  Have faith in your fellow members and remember to drink lots of cold water and to de-stress by taking hot baths as often as you need to. Make this programme the most important thing in your life and dump anything that gets in the way of your QUIT!
