Your obsessing can stop if want to work on it. Do you agree that you can only think of one thing at a time?
Get a piece of paper... write down in words a magically, awesome, place you would like to visit. Could be real or imaginary (imaginary is really great to create!). Ok, now describe in GREAT detail about that place. It has to be atleast 300 words. Describe sights, smells, textures, feelings, people, animals, taste their foods, anything you can think of.
By the time you are done with this...atleast 30 minutes will have been used up. Just think...30 minutes of not thinking about smoking.... ah pure bliss!
You are doing a great job and this weekend proves it. I feel you have to practice "practical" ways to get your mind off smoking. I am proof it works. When I first quit my head was just filled with mumble jumble crap and that was my biggest complaint.
I also color. Quit laughing!!!!
