I bumped you a post in the general forum, from a man named Brent who went out to the pub for a few pints. Beware! The addiction goes where you take it. Alexander, I quit smoking in 2004 four days before watching my beloved team in the F A Cup final and I drank enough that day to qualify for a "liver refloatation". I did not smoke. I did not smoke because I had quit smoking - I had not quit drinking and I had not quit enjoying myself. It comes down to how much you want to be quit. If you really want to be rid of it, you will not smoke while enjoying a pint and watching Robinson's penultimate game in charge of the World Champions!! Go and enjoy, just DO NOT SMOKE! Penitent d913

surely you know someone who doesn't smoke??? make some sort of plans with them......or at least make plans to be in a non smoking place for your outings?? get gum, hard candies to suck on, cut up straws to occupy the hand to mouth thing. Use your head.....when nothing else is going to work....ESCAPE till you can get back in control of your urges. the main thing is...you make a pact with yourself...you don't smoke....not matter WHAT.....smoking is NOT one of your options. It may well require that you stay away from the smokers for a while....so be it.....you have to guard your quit like it was the prize of a lifetime.....cause actually it IS Katy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/4/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 1777 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 71,110 Amount Saved: $10128.9 Life Gained: Days: 231 Hrs: 21 Mins: 8 Seconds: 52
