Self Medication

Kim, I've used that term a lot - referring to alcohol and street drugs - like Anne-Marie said - but also with Rx meds -- thinking if one is good, more is better - etc..... I would NOT recommend it. creates more problems. dangerous. guilt. addiction. lot's of things. If you're having a tough time right now, can you talk about what's going on? Do you want to talk about what's going on? -SCBB

Self medication usually refers to people using alcohol or street drugs to cope with their anxiety or depression. This may helps people feel better in the short-term but just leads to more problems in the long-term. -- Anne-Marie, Site Administrator
