Hi doinit4mygirls, How are you feeling this morning? We all have bad days from time to time, and they seem especially frequent at the beginning of a quit. You're doing what you need to do. Take one minute at a time. Don't think about the forever quit, think about the here and now. Look at your girls and know that you want to be around when they grow up, no matter how many melt downs they have. Have a little patience with yourself. .... that was supposed to say.... "by your example your kids may never start".... My kids saw the he11 that I went through during my quit... and I made sure they understood what I was going through so that hopefully they wouldn't make the same mistake I did and become addicted to nicotine.... Hold tough, you can do it!

Hi doinit4mygirls.... I have two daughters who seem to be much older than yours... how I wish I would have quit smoking while they were still young :( You have that chance, take it! Don't give up! As simple as that sounds that is actually all it takes! Only you can make the decision to smoke or not to smoke. My mantra during my quit has been and will always be: "I'd rather be an ex-smoker occasionally thinking of smoking than a smoker constantly thinking of quitting" ;) Be a great example to your wife, if she doesn't quit at least by your example kids may never start.... :) All my best to you...
